Kicking off on the 26th Of May’07, the much awaited AR Rahman , 3Rd Dimension , North American Tour, will be held across 9 centers of the North America.
• New York
• Chicago
• Houston
• Los Angeles
• San Francisco
• Atlanta
• Dallas
• Vancouver
• Toronto.

The above mentioned cities are not in the order of the route of the tour.

AR Rahman would be performing in North America, after a gap of 4 yrs. He would be performing for the 1st time in cities like Chicago, Atlanta. and a gap of 7 yrs for Toronto.
Thus the anticipation being justified.

Over the last few yrs, Rahman not only has moved up in the ladder of his popularity but also achieved a lot of accolades in work beyond the boundaries of India. The Lord Of the Rings Musical, opened in Toronto last Summer , was the biggest production out of West end or Broadway. The musical was composed by AR Rahman along with a Finish Band. AR Rahman’s entry into west end and Broadway began with Bombay Dreams. An Andrew Loyd Webber production.

 Nominated for his work in Lagaan , and  Water at the Oscars. Rahman has broken all  records for an individual, across the globe,  having sold more than 200 millions albums  of his scores, over the last Decade.

 The prestige of India, the Icon for the Youth,  this Young Composer Musician and Singer is  all set to make the 3rd Dimension North  American Tour a huge success.

 AR Rahman is also the ambassador for the  United Nations. He recently has released a  song for the UN , composed for the  eradication of Poverty across the world.
 ‘Pray For Me Brother’ the song composed  and sung by Rahman is now the inspiration  to  the cause of Poverty drive by the UN.

 A troupe size of 70 people, with Production  standards that people like , Bas Lurhman ,  the director of Moulin Rouge, said is  spectacular, (he saw the concert in Sydney

 AR Rahman , will perform at the 3rd  Dimension Concert Tour,
 With his troupe of musicians, co singers,  Dancers, and Technicians.

 His repertoire will consist mainly of songs from Indian Cinema, both in Hindi and Tamil, but also form Bombay Dreams, Lord of the Rings. Provoked and Warriors of heaven and Earth.

Its always the endeavor of Rahman and Deepak Gattani, to deliver something spectacular to the audience.

In 2000 the 1st tour of Rahman in USA/Canada,
The 1st time Indian concerts had moving drops, changing sets, and synchronized Lighting.

2003 saw a different aspect of AR RAHMANS concerts
EMBRACING AND LARGE.

The treatment was like an audio visual drama. Another 1st.
In 2006 AR Rahman performed at the Hollywood Bowl, one of the most prestigious Music festivals of North America. An enthralling audience of 18000 people attended the concert .
